As part of the Bookworms Library, Teen Survival Guide was designed to make graded reading feel engaging, accessible and relevant to teenage learners.

The approach combines photography, illustration and doodle elements to create a dynamic mix of content across the pages. Imagery is used purposefully to break up text, introduce ideas and support comprehension, while a clear typographic hierarchy from the existing template the structured layouts make the content easy to navigate.

Activities are integrated into the design at the back of the book as the Bookworm style. Creating a more fluid reading and learning experience. The design also extends into the digital experience, with online resources providing an additional layer of content across tablet and desktop.
