Making Connections: Life, Community & Work
In bringing Making Connections to life we created a learning and assessment resource with a thoughtful design that supports students and educators.The 312-page resource is structured across two distinct modules, designed to guide learners through key aspects of their personal, professional and community lives. Each module is divided into two strands, creating a clear and considered structure that supports progression through the course. With distinct colour-ways and a clear hierarchy for titles and sections the page layouts created a comprehensive resource thats easy to navigate through.
Designed with purpose
Working across the project, we helped shape a suite of materials where every element was considered with the learner and educator in mind. Designed to capture participation, reflection and evidence of learning, the system has been developed to work together seamlessly across all assets and components.
Clear layouts, accessible content, relatable examples and carefully structured activities give students the indicators to work through the course. The assessment pages and digital resources also provide support for educators.

The mind map assessment flow charts were created from the author briefs to enable decision making and indicators for discussion.
Digital Resources
In addition to the page layouts we were asked to create real world adverts that could be accessed online to enhance the students experience.
From concept to completion
We love seeing a project develop from an initial concept into something tangible, purposeful and ready to make a real difference in the classroom. With Making Connections, that journey has brought together a carefully considered collection of print and digital resources, supported by a consistent visual identity across the entire suite.
We’re delighted with the final result and have a sense of satisfaction where we have contributed to a project that connects learning, reflection and assessment in such a thoughtful and accessible way.
